2010 Tri-State Truck Pull

The Tri-State Truck Pull is the biggest event of its kind in the region, debuting for the first time in 2007 at the Goshen Stampede. Drivers from all over New England attend to test the ability of their vehicles. Sled pulling consists of a vehicle and a transfer sled, which progressively increases resistance the further the sled, is pulled.  

The Tri-State Truck Pull starts at approximately 12 Noon each day, Saturday and Sunday, June 19 & 20th. Anyone who wishes to participate is expected to register during the hours of 9:00-11:30am and 3:30-4:45pm each day.

The schedule for each day is as follows:


 

  • 1st Registration 9:00-11:30am
  • 1St Drivers Meeting 11:30-11:45am
  • Pulling begins at 12:00 Noon
  • 2nd Registration 3:30-4:30pm
  • 2nd Drivers Meeting 4:30-4:45
  • Pulling 5:00-7:00 App.

Participants may only register during the posted registration times.
Times are approximate, and will only be changed if need be.

There is a $20 fee to register for each hook. All registered drivers will receive a free Goshen Stampede T-shirt.

2010 Tri-State Truck Pull – Truck and SUV Pulling Rules

The sled operator, stampede pulling staff or helpers are not responsible for any harm or damage to the vehicle or operator during the event.
Drivers must be in complete control of their vehicle at all times.
Any vehicle that travels over the boundary lines during a pull will be disqualified.
Registration is limited to street legal vehicles only- gas or diesel.
Registration will be 9:00-11:30am and 3:30-4:30pm each day.
Driver must show current vehicle registration and insurance upon registering.
Drivers must be 18 years of age, 16 years of age with written parental consent.
The first puller will be the test puller in each class. Once the sled is set, said puller can accept the test pull or pull again.
A mechanical failure will allow a puller to pull again at the end of their class. (Time permitting).
The hitch point must be 26” from the ground, allowing 2.5” in the receiver for the sleds hook.
D.O.T. approved tires only.

Classes: All vehicles will be weighed in and all winners will be weighed out.

 Light Gas: Jeeps, compact trucks, 4-6 cyl.
 4,000lbs. GVW Max.
 Gas: ½, ¾, and 1 ton trucks,   6,00lbs. GVW Max.
 Stock Diesel & Gas
 8,000lbs. GVW Max.
 Unlimited Diesel & Gas  10,000lbs. GVW Max. Added weight and suspension modifications allowed.

Prizes: Payouts made to the class winner each day.
